Sermon Summary (January 24, 2010)| His Intention in Bestowing Blessings (Genesis 17:15-16) God seals one through blessings. Even though He created humankind and all things, the one whom He sealed is the Chosen one, namely Jesus Christ (Mt 28:18). Jesus is the Son of God, but he is the one who came as a human (Jn 1:18), and even though he came as a human, he is the King of kings (1 Ti 6:15), which is impossible unless God commands him blessings (Nu 23:20). Therefore, blessings as God's chosen work are our faith. The Nazarene became the Lord and Savior (Jn 1:46-49), not because he was outstanding, but because he was God-sent. and Jesus Christ won the victory, for God had commanded him blessings (Php 2:6-8). He gave us the Holy Spirit so that we may know it; thus he is the blessed God. ¡Û The Lord and Savior is not the one who comes out from humankind, but God's sent one, solely His chosen one. ¡Û The Lord and Savior is not a famous one, he is life and the Covenant, the one who came out from God's bosom. ¡Û Because here lies the principle of one's learning the Bible, it is the working of Jesus Christ, and the witnessing of the Holy Spirit. ¡Ø Let us also become men of Jesus Christ, and become the blessed, who are of God. | ||
