| Bequeath Blessings (Proverbs 20:7-13) God is the Father. He created heaven so that the Son might inherit it (Ps 23:3). Because heaven is filled with God's happiness, it is meant for His beloved Son (Heb 1:1-2); because the Son of Man triumphed through resurrection and gained heaven, it is the throne at God's right side (Ac 2:32-33). This is the covenant that He promised us, our faith and our hope (1 Co 15:23). Because God called us His children, we are His sons (Eph 1:3-5), and have become co-heirs with Jesus Christ (Ro 8:16-17), which the Holy Spirit sealed. Therefore, it is a real situation, and blessings are his active power (Mt 28:20). As receiving the Spirit means receiving blessings, it is receiving the testimony that one is God's heir. ¡Û Let us not give curses as an inheritance to our descendants, but bequeath blessings and life as to them. Let us bequeath the blessings of the eternal kingdom. ¡Û If we are God's children, then we have become His heirs; thus it is God who will grant us heaven, ¡Û As God's kingdom lies in our hearts even now, we must have its authority. ¡Ø He who does not have the strength to bequeath blessings to his descendants cannot give them faith. Let us be blessed with the blessings that go down to a thousand generations. | ||
